1.Objectives
The pharmacological effects, uses and side effects of magnesium sulfate, phenobarbital, phenytoin and ethosuximide
2.Teaching content
(1)Anticonvulsant: The pharmacological effects and clinical uses of magnesium sulfate.
(2)Antiepileptic: the symptoms and classification of epilepsy.
barbiturates: clinical uses, the relation of GABA anti-epilepsy. The characteristics of phenobarbital and primidone .
hydantoins: phenytoin: clinical uses and pharmacokinetics, side effects and interaction with other drugs.
Succinimide: the clinical uses and side effects of ethosuximide.
Others: the characteristics of valproic acid, clonazepam, diazepam and carbamazepine.
